1S chargers charge single-cell 3.7V (or 3.8V LiHV) packs — the 300–550mAh whoop batteries with PH2.0, BT2.0, BT3.0 or A30 connectors that a normal balance charger cannot take. This page collects every single-cell charger in our Chargers range: six-port whoop chargers that top up a full session of packs at once, compact USB chargers for one or two cells, and single-cell Li-ion chargers for 18650 and 26650 cells. Check the connector on your packs first, then whether you need an HV mode for LiHV batteries.
How to choose a 1S charger
- Connector: whoop packs use PH2.0, BT2.0, BT3.0 or A30 plugs. Multi-port chargers usually carry two of these; make sure yours is one of them or budget for adapters.
- LiPo vs LiHV: standard cells charge to 4.20V, LiHV to 4.35V. A charger without an HV setting under-charges HV packs by 5–8% of their capacity; one left in HV mode over-charges standard packs.
- Charge current: 0.5–1A per port is typical. A 450mAh pack at 1C takes about an hour; some chargers offer 2A for fast turnaround at the cost of cycle life.
- Storage and discharge: chargers with a storage mode bring packs to 3.8V between sessions, which is the single biggest factor in whoop battery life.
- Power input: USB-C or a 2S–6S LiPo input for field charging from a larger pack.

Compatibility
A 1S charger cannot charge a 2S or larger pack — those need a balance charger with a JST-XH balance lead (see our 1S–6S LiPo chargers). Whoop chargers are safe for any 1S LiPo or LiHV pack regardless of brand, as long as the connector fits and the mode matches the cell chemistry.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I charge 1S whoop batteries with a normal LiPo balance charger?
- Most 2S–6S balance chargers cannot: their balance port starts at 2S and their main lead is XT60. A dedicated 1S charger with PH2.0/BT2.0 ports is the practical way to charge whoop packs.
- Should I use LiHV mode?
- Only for packs marked HV or 3.8V/4.35V. Standard 3.7V LiPo cells must stop at 4.20V; charging them to 4.35V shortens their life and is a fire risk.
- How long does a 6-port whoop charger take?
- At 1A per port, a set of six 450mAh packs charges in about 45–60 minutes. Charging at 0.5A takes twice as long and is gentler on the cells.
