Product details

nRF24L01+ 2.4GHz transceiver module with a power amplifier (PA) and low-noise amplifier (LNA), supplied with a 2dB antenna on an SMA connector. It adds a low-cost wireless data link to Arduino, STM32 and other microcontroller projects — DIY radios, ground-station links, sensor telemetry — where the basic PCB-antenna nRF24L01 module runs out of range.

Key features

  • About 800–1000 m line-of-sight range in open air at 250 kbps, thanks to the PA and LNA front end.
  • 125 channels across the 2.4GHz ISM band, with six-pipe data reception so one receiver can listen to up to six transmitters.
  • Up to 2 Mbit/s air data rate, selectable down to 250 kbps for maximum range.
  • SPI interface that works with MCU, ARM, PIC, AVR and STM32 systems.
  • Removable SMA antenna that can be swapped for a higher-gain 2.4GHz antenna.

Specifications

  • Chip: nRF24L01+ with PA and LNA
  • Band: 2.4GHz ISM
  • Channels: 125
  • Data rate: 250 kbps, 1 Mbps, 2 Mbps
  • Range: about 800–1000 m in open air at 250 kbps
  • Antenna: 2dB, SMA connector
  • Interface: SPI
  • Supply voltage: 3.3 V

Power it from a clean 3.3 V supply, never 5 V: the PA pulls current spikes while transmitting, and a 10–100 µF capacitor across VCC and GND at the module is the usual fix for dropouts and failed links. This is a data radio, not an RC receiver — it does not speak ELRS, CRSF or SBUS out of the box.
