Product details
A compact 5V buzzer that plugs into a flight controller's buzzer port. It sounds arming and disarming tones, low-battery warnings and a lost-model alarm after a crash. It suits KK2 / KK2.1 and Naze32 boards with a JST buzzer header. It also works on other flight controllers whose buzzer output drives a standard 5V buzzer: on boards with buzzer pads, cut off the plug and solder the leads.
Key features
- 3.7–5 V operation: runs from the flight controller's buzzer output and draws under 25 mA.
- JST female plug on a 110 mm lead: reaches the FC from most mounting spots in the frame.
- 9 mm diameter body: small enough to tuck into a tight frame.
- Lost-model alarm: set the beeper to sound on RC link loss or from a switch, so you can find a downed model in tall grass or crops.
Specifications
- Operating voltage: 3.7–5 V
- Current draw: under 25 mA
- Diameter: 9 mm
- Lead length: 110 mm
- Connector: JST female
The buzzer has no battery of its own, so it only sounds while the flight pack stays connected. If you want a finder that keeps beeping after the battery ejects, choose a self-powered beeper. Check polarity against the FC's buzzer + and − markings before plugging in.
