7Semi XT60 Smoke Stopper Short-Circuit Tester, 3-6S

The 7Semi XT60 smoke stopper sits between the battery and a freshly built quad, RC model or robot for its first power-up. If there is a short, a solder bridge or a reversed lead, it limits the fault current so the ESC, flight controller and receiver survive the mistake. It is specified for 3S to 6S LiPo packs and is an in-house 7Semi design from India.

• XT60 male and female connectors fitted, so it plugs straight in-line with no soldering

Use it for the first plug-in, bench checks and configuration only: the protection deliberately restricts current, so it is not meant to stay in-line for motor tests or flight. Once the LEDs confirm a clean power-up, remove it and connect the battery directly.
