Industrial and survey drone frames for mapping, inspection, payload and research UAVs. Choose the layout first: quadcopters are simpler and lighter, while hexacopters and octocopters add payload and motor redundancy. Wheelbase and frame weight indicate the prop size and motor class to plan for. Folding arms and motorised retracts, as on the Tarot 650 Sport, make larger frames practical in the field.
