Heavy-lift drone motors are the large-stator, low-KV units that swing 10-inch and bigger props on cinelifters, X-Class quads, survey hexacopters and industrial UAVs. Start from the prop and total take-off weight, then pick a motor whose rated thrust gives roughly 2:1 thrust-to-weight. KV falls as size rises (75–1250 KV here) and must suit the cell count, from 6S cinelifters to 12S and higher industrial systems. Check the mount and shaft against your arms and props.
