Large-stator, low-KV motors for 10-inch and bigger props: cinelifters, X-Class quads, survey hexacopters and industrial UAVs. Start from the prop and total take-off weight, then pick a motor whose rated thrust gives roughly 2:1 thrust-to-weight. KV falls as size rises (75–1250 KV here) and must suit the cell count, from 6S cinelifters to 12–14S industrial systems. Check the mount and shaft against your arms and props.
