The 5V/7A Universal Battery Elimination Circuit (UBEC) is a high-efficiency switching step-down regulator designed to supply stable power to high-draw onboard electronics. By stepping down your main LiPo flight battery voltage, this UBEC physically separates the power supply of your sensitive components from the electrical noise and voltage spikes generated by ESCs and motors. Capable of pushing a robust 7 amps, it is specifically built for configurations that overwhelm standard built-in flight controller BECs. This makes it an ideal fit for fixed-wing planes running multiple high-torque servos, cinelifters powering auxiliary payload drops, or drones carrying demanding LED arrays.
High-efficiency switching regulator geometry minimizes heat dissipation compared to traditional linear BECs.
Provides a stable 5V output to prevent receiver brownouts during aggressive servo movements or sudden peripheral power spikes.
Shielded inductor and optimized PCB layout actively reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) reaching your radio link and video systems.
Bare-wire leads allow direct and secure soldering to your power distribution board (PDB) or custom wire harness.
Component type: Switching step-down regulator (UBEC)
Output voltage: 5V
Output current: 7A
For the cleanest RF environment, mount this module with double-sided tape slightly away from your GPS compass and sensitive receiver antennas to prevent switching noise from degrading your link quality.
