TBS Airscrew 5.8GHz Wideband RHCP Antenna (SMA 90 Degree)

The TBS Airscrew is a wideband 5.8 GHz circularly polarised FPV antenna with a 90-degree SMA connector, for video transmitters on tight builds or as a receive antenna on goggles and ground stations. It covers 4900–6100 MHz, so it also works across the lower 4.9 GHz channels some VTXs offer.

Key features

• Five-element multi-phase design: a smooth, near-omnidirectional pattern with an axial ratio of 0.95, rejecting the cross-polarised reflections that cause multipath breakup.
• RHCP, 1.3 dBic gain: pair it with RHCP antennas on the other end of the link.
• 90° SMA connector: angles the antenna away from the port, reducing strain on the VTX or VRx connector in tight frames and crashes.
• Impact-resistant build: made to survive crashes without adding bulk.

Check that your VTX or receiver port is SMA rather than RP-SMA, U.FL or MMCX before ordering; on the ground side it suits SMA-equipped receiver modules such as the TBS Fusion.
