Pultruded Carbon Fiber Tube 1000mm, 1mm Wall

Hollow pultruded carbon fibre tubes, 1000 mm long with a 1 mm wall, for wing spars on RC planes and gliders, tail booms, antenna masts and other light structures where stiffness per gram matters. Pick the 6 × 4 mm or 8 × 6 mm size (outer × inner diameter) and cut to length.

Unidirectional fibres resist bending well but crush easily across the diameter, so spread clamping loads with saddle clamps or bonded sleeves instead of tightening screws straight onto the tube. Carbon fibre conducts electricity and blocks RF, so insulate wiring run along it and mount antennas clear of the tube end.
