A 30A brushless (BLDC) electronic speed controller that comes with connectors fitted. It drives one brushless motor on a drone or RC vehicle. The ESC reads the throttle signal from a flight controller or receiver and sets the motor's speed and power to match.

Match the ESC to the motor. With your chosen propeller and battery, the motor's peak current should stay below 30A, with some headroom for full-throttle bursts and hot weather. A quadcopter needs four of these, one per motor. Check the battery voltage rating printed on the unit before you first power it up. If the motors start unevenly, calibrate the throttle range with your flight controller or receiver.
