Product details
A pair of 12 × 3.8-inch carbon-reinforced nylon propellers, one clockwise and one counter-clockwise, for 12-inch multirotors. Carbon nylon is stiffer than plain ABS, so the blades flex less under load, making this the better pick for heavier camera, mapping and payload builds where prop flutter shows up as vibration.
Key features
- 12-inch diameter, 3.8-inch pitch, two blades
- Carbon-fibre-reinforced nylon for stiffness and impact resistance
- 1 CW + 1 CCW pair; a quadcopter needs two pairs
- Angled 15° tips intended to reduce tip vortices
- Set of plastic shaft reducers included
Specifications
- Diameter: 12 in (304 mm)
- Pitch: 3.8 in
- Blades: 2
- Material: Carbon nylon
- Colour: Black
- Weight: 44 g
- Pack: 1 CW + 1 CCW, with reducers
On a quadcopter, adjacent motors need to sit more than 305 mm apart, centre to centre, to clear 12-inch blades. Low-KV motors suit this low-pitch prop; balance each blade before the first flight.
