2479 24x7.9 Carbon Fiber Folding Propellers with Adapter (1CW+1CCW)

A pair of 2479 carbon fibre folding propellers — 24 inch diameter, 7.9 inch pitch — one clockwise and one counter-clockwise, each with its adapter. Props this large belong on big heavy-lift and industrial multirotors with low-KV motors rated for 24-inch blades.

Key features

• Folding blades: fold back for transport, shrinking the footprint of a large airframe, and straighten under centrifugal force at spin-up.
• Carbon fibre blades: at 24 inches, blade stiffness keeps the profile true under load, limiting thrust loss and vibration.
• Adapter included for mounting the propeller hub to the motor.
• Matched pair: one CW and one CCW — order two pairs for a quadcopter, three for a hexacopter, four for an octocopter.

Specifications

• Size: 24 × 7.9 inch
• Blades: 2 per propeller, folding
• Material: carbon fibre
• Rotation: 1 × CW, 1 × CCW
• In the box: 1 × CW and 1 × CCW propeller with adapter
• Tolerance: ±2% on dimensions and weight

Tip speeds at this diameter are high: tighten the pivot bolts so the blades are held firmly yet swing freely, balance each prop with its adapter fitted, and inspect the blades for cracks before every flight.
